Annual Friendship Tea
Women’s Friendship, Inc. has been providing an Annual Friendship Tea for the past five years. The tea started on the front lawn of our founder, Josephine Ellis, with nearly 50 women has grown to approximately 150 women in attendance.
Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and grandmothers from all walks of life have embraced this joyous annual occasion, traditionally held on the second Sunday in September.
The tea provides a mixture of the indulgence of a variety of teas, glorious entertainment, a scrumptious buffet and a motivational guest speaker. Sisterhood at its best, the program culminates with a "Parade of Hats" where one lucky lady walks away with a special gift for sporting the most adorned beautiful and unique hat.
Our community partners are also offered the opportunity to showcase their products and merchandise.
