Women’s Friendship, Inc. (WFI) Scholarship Fund awards $500 Book Scholarships to graduating seniors in the Metro Atlanta area and surrounding counties.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Must be a graduating senior in the State of Georgia
- Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher
- Typed essay 400—500 words
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- Letter of acceptance from the college or university of their choice

Ashjah A. Hall
A graduating senior from and Valedictorian from Cedar Grove High School. While attending Cedar Grove Hight School, Ashjah was a Peer Helper and participated on the Dance Team and the Soccer Team. She was a member of the Beta Club and National Honors Society. Ashjah will attend Georgia State University in Statesboro, GA and will major in Marketing with a minor in Management. Her hobbies include traveling and exploring new things. Mikirra Bullard A graduating senior and Residential Valedictorian from Columbia High School. While attending Columbia High School, Mikirra was the Vice President of the Beta Club and a member of the National Honors Society, FCCLA, the Art Club. She also served in the role of Teacher Assistant. Mikirra will attend Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA where she will major in Biology. Her hobbies include art, singing, playing the piano and reading. |

Brittany Williams
A graduating senior and Valedictorian of the Magnet Program from Southwest Dekalb High School. While attending Southwest Dekalb, Brittany was Student Athlete of the Year, a Simon Scholar, Student Government President Lacrosse Captain, and the only student in Dekalb County to be Platinum certified on the National Work Ready Exam. Brittany was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Beta Club, AKA Debutante President and the Health Occupation Students of America. Brittany attends Duke University where she majors in Neuroscience and minors in Psychology. Her hobbies include community service and mentoring younger children.

Jasmine Clayton
A graduating senior from Chamblee Charter High School, has received honors from The National Honor Society, Bulldog Service Award, Beta Club; Presidential Scholar and Principal’s List. She is a member of YMCA Leaders’ Club, Co-Vice President of the Future Business Leaders of America, Section Leader for the Marching Band and Editor for the Yearbook Staff. Jasmine will attend the University of Georgia where she will major in Advertising with a minor in Communication Studies. Jasmine enjoys writing and new media.

Ugonna Ume
A graduating senior from Stephenson High School with a GPA of 3.9, Ugonna is the Recipient of the 21st Century Leaders Award and the recipient of Georgia Merit Scholars. Ugonna is an active member of Stephenson Outreach, a community service organization that she started to get more teens involved in their communities. Ugonna enjoys volunteering, dancing, reading and hanging out with family and friends. She will attend Agnes Scott College where she will major in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights.
Djenne' Carswell
A graduating senior from Chamblee Charter High School where she was in the Magnet Program. Djenne’ won 1st place in Web Design from the Future Business Leaders of America. She is a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Legacy Program and President of SWAG Youth Ministry. Djenne’ enjoys gymnastics, photography, drawing, painting, music productions. She will attend Georgia State
University where she will major in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography.
